Ok these are getting redundant, but I just forgot to say that this is seriously one of the most beautiful drives I have ever been on, not to mention who was driving! I felt so blessed to be there and I recommend the East to anyone despite my extreme Alaskanism
Image
And again, the mountains. I had the crop this one because My hair is blowingup over Nathan's head and it looks like it's his hair! The blue right by his head is where I failed to fix it and decided to crop it instead!

The mountains again

DC with my parents and Nathan

This is at the wonderful reception for Sandra and Michael. Everyone was thrilled that Nathan could dance and that he was so darn cute

This is at Dave Nanney's house listening to stories from Afghanistan with all my family who I know know! (that's dave on the right taking a picture)

I hear THIS is why they call them the Blue Ridge Mountains. Honestly, I'm not sure I've seen a place more beautiful.

The crew who hiked Stewart Falls: Bridger's friend, Mark, Bridger, Dave, Annie, Derek (Dak), Brandon (Freddie, he looks like Freddie Prinze Jr.), Brett

I decided to be brave and get close to this bee for once

The colors were really like this, I didn't touch this with an editor, it was so awesome
Image
The trail was too perfect and serene to not take a picture of

John showing me how nice some dead leaves smell. I know, it looks like I'm eating grain out of his hand or something, and that's Dan in the middle with the tree coming out of his head, and Timp in the background. A few months ago this field was covered in flowers, but this time it was all brown, but a different kind of beautiful
Image
Our best ninja jumps (Emily has a sweet ninja jump too she is just too fast for the camera)
Image
Beautiful leaves!
Image
Me, Dan, and John looking East over the real peak of squaw peak
Image
John about to jump. Me scared for John's life and my own knowing if he jumped I would too. Lemming?
Image
Me deciding if I'm really going to jump
Image
For all those who have gone cliff jumping with me before, I jumped in record time! it only took me about 2 minutes of standing there to decide to go!
Image
Me and John happy we're alive!
Image
I like this pictures first because Cherie and Johnathan look great, and second because that's me climbing down the waterfall in the background
Image
Me and Jessica in one of the picture perfect spots we found. Everyone else there was married so they would take pictures together whenever we had a pretty spot, then they took turns taking a picture with me so I didn't have to be alone, it was fun :)

Breakfast

Oh, were we ever jumping! The camera was on timer when we took this picture, it only took us about 12 tries!
Image
The before picture! We never managed to take an 'after' picture. We sure were a piece of work, we drove all night, slept for an hour or two in the car and then hiked 10 miles. Needless to say, it was more than worth it
Image
We were a big colder and tireder than we look, except for maybe Emily, she looks pretty cold and tired:)

First arrival!

Do we take our chacos off to swing on a rope swing? No sir!
Image
Emily after a long day of hiking and being freezing in a waterfall, aaannndd she's still beautiful!
Image
This is the little guy who was trying to eat our food (and ate some of it successfully). Emily and I chased him around for the better part of a n hour taking pictures
Image
Hello cuteness!
Image
Making dinner with headlamps and trying to hide our food from the weird lemur things
Image
inside the cliff climbing down to the waterfall, I climbed down it holding my camera in one hand
Image
View from the trail down the cliff to the bottom of the falls
Image
Me trying to take pictures of the bats flying around the falls
Image
John and Emily doing their heel-clicking thing!
Image
darn this picture was supposed to go at the bottom! This is solomon gulch fron the back, that's suglarloaf on the right. The dam on the lake was overflowing like a banshee! The nice little trickle that make the waterfall we take the summer fun kids to was a torrent! The far side of that lake is where the pictures of me walking on the damm (later in my blog) were taken

The fam squeezed into an elevator

Us three after our cousin Mindy's wedding. When did Casey get so handsome?
Image
Probably only Kaela will squeal with jealousy at this picture. We got to go to church with the Olkjers! This are the coolest little boys and girl I have ever known. Left to right: Logan, Peyton, Satch (holding the paper), Annie, Michaelin, me, Grant.
Image
The first thing we did when we got home is went into the back yard and picked 5 bowls of raspberries! This took us about 1/2 an hour, I couldn't believe it. About every 3 or 4 days we pick like that. Annie and I made jam out of a few of them, but the majority go to making wine.
Image
This was our crazy frisbee game the day after we got home. It was pouring down rain, and the soccer field was one giant puddle, but did that stop us? I think not!
