week of early mornings

Image
This week we had to wake ourselves up early every single morgen! We had super early deutsch class monday and wednesday, but we got to bring food and have a huge breakfast (reminiscent of the old tuesdays in french class)! This is another topic all together, but this week I finally worked up the courage to try milchreis. It is like lumpy...pudding stuff. I was a skeptic at first, but now I'm mourning over it not existing to my knowledge in the states. I can't bring it home either because it has to be refridgerated! But, if any of you are ever over here, I reccomend it. Thursday we played Frisbee in the freezing cold Prater. We are all so out of shape, the game lasted less than an hour and we spent much of the time laughing at ourselves. Can't complain though. One of these pictures is a picture of me going to church carrying mushroom soup. Chels and I wanted to make Green bean casserole but they have no canned mushroom soup here so we made some real stu ff and just added some

what it's like now!

Alright, things have changed and I took a picture of it! I SHOULD take more, but my camera has been out of batteries. I think I sent an email out about what I've been up to the past week. Doesn't sound quite as exciting as Annie's adventures. This week I think I'll be doing a lot of homework (which isn't so bad really since it's the ONLY week of this whole semester I can say that about. It's snowy here and it is cold but beautiful, especially out where I live. Last night for FHE we were all gathered at the out-reach center at the church, that's what the second picture is of- just another party. Anway Over and out.

Looking away from the lake, you can see a little waterfall in the middle of the picutre almost.
Image
Another picture from the hike. This is looking down the waterfall we climbed up into the valley, you might be able to make out a little farm at the bottom of the mountain. notice the INCREDIBLE fall colors. We couldn't really see them until the sun came up which made it all the more amazing.
Image
This is my buddy Ryan who went on that awesome hike with me that I told you all about. The sun was juuusttt starting to come up, as you can see.

ok this is more on the enigma of the noridic walkers, they have formed a corperation or something! We found a whole flock of them doing arm circles! The best I can decipher is they are the land lubber version of water areobics
